n4287 - Square Back

A fabulous very rare sand phantom quartz crystal cluster from Arkansas. This beauty has a lot of sand inclusions all over and is also a square back. Square back refers to the fact it grew on a square calcite crystal which has since weathered out. This crystal has two contact areas, each on opposite edges. These hard to find crystals only come from the Collier Creek Mine in Montgomery County, AR. Stands up on its own. Weighs 8 oz. Size: 4 7/8" long x 3 1/2" wide x 2" tall.
